Ceramic coating in Bucharest
A ceramic coating is the most durable protection you can put over your car's paint: a transparent, hard barrier that repels water and dirt and locks in the gloss achieved through polishing. At Verk Detailing we apply Gyeon ceramics exclusively, in-studio, on properly prepared paint.
The difference versus wax or classic sealants? Ceramic doesn't wash off after a few months — depending on the product, protection lasts up to 3 years.
What a ceramic layer actually does
Once cured, the ceramic layer becomes an extremely smooth, hydrophobic surface. Water beads up and rolls off, carrying dust and dirt with it — the car stays clean longer and washes far more easily.
Ceramic also shields the clear coat from contaminants that would otherwise bond to it — industrial fallout, bird droppings, insects — and from UV fading. Optically, it deepens the colour and intensifies the gloss restored by polishing.
Gyeon One, Evo One or Evo Pure — what we apply
We use Gyeon's professional range at three durability levels, matched to the exterior package you choose:
- Gyeon One — up to 2 years or 25,000 km of protection (Exterior Basic)
- Gyeon Evo One — up to 2 years, applied over a two-stage correction (Exterior Pro)
- Gyeon Evo Pure — up to 3 years, the strongest in the range (Exterior Ultra)
- Ultra extras: Gyeon Q2 Trim EVO ceramic for plastics and a full hydrophobic glass treatment
Paint preparation decides everything
Ceramic seals in whatever it finds underneath — including swirls and holograms, if the paint isn't corrected first. That's why we never coat unprepared paint: every package includes a two-bucket wash, chemical and mechanical decontamination and polishing, from a single pass in Basic to a three-stage correction in Ultra.
Only on clean, smooth, inspected paint do we apply the ceramic layer, panel by panel, and let it cure under controlled conditions.

What's the difference between Gyeon One, Evo One and Evo Pure?
All three are professional Gyeon ceramic coatings; they differ in durability and the package they come with — One lasts up to 2 years or 25,000 km, Evo One up to 2 years over a two-stage correction, and Evo Pure up to 3 years in the Ultra package.
Does ceramic protect against scratches?
The coating adds extra hardness that helps with micro-marring, but it isn't a scratch-proof shield — a key or a stone will still leave a mark. Its job is repelling water and contaminants and preserving the corrected gloss.
How should I wash the car after coating?
By hand or at self-service pressure washes, avoiding rotating brushes, which scratch any surface. Thanks to the hydrophobic layer, dirt releases much more easily — you wash less often and faster.
Can I coat a car with scratched paint?
Technically yes, but it makes no sense — the ceramic would seal the defects underneath. That's why our packages always include polishing before application, so the layer locks in flawless paint, not swirls.
