Most fine scratches in a car's paint don't come from traffic — they come from washing. Rotating brushes, dirty cloths and grit-filled sponges gradually leave the web of swirls you see in sunlight. A premium wash is the exact opposite: method, clean materials, and zero harsh contact with the paint.
At Verk Detailing, washing isn't a conveyor-belt service — it's the foundation of every exterior detail, done by hand, in-studio, with patience.
The two-bucket method, in short
We wash with two separate buckets — one holding shampoo solution, one holding clean water to rinse the mitt after every pass. Dirt collected off the bodywork stays in the second bucket instead of returning to the paint. It sounds simple, but this exact detail separates a wash that maintains the clear coat from one that scratches it.
We always start with snow foam that softens and lifts coarse dirt before anything touches the paint, and we dry with air and dedicated microfibre towels.
Decontamination: what every regular wash leaves behind
Even after a careful wash, bonded contaminants remain in the clear coat: brake-dust particles, tar, industrial fallout. You can feel them running your palm over the bodywork — the surface "grabs". Chemical decontamination dissolves them; mechanical claying physically lifts them out of the paint.
The result is a perfectly smooth surface — ready for polishing or ceramic coating, or simply glossier and easier to maintain.
Wheels, tyres and glass — the complete finish
A clean car with dirty wheels isn't clean. We deep-clean the wheels, including behind the spokes, decontaminate them and dress the tyres for that even, satin look. On request, we treat the glass with a hydrophobic solution — water slides off at speed and rain visibility improves noticeably.

Questions about this service
How is a premium wash different from a regular car wash?
Through method and through what does NOT touch the car: no rotating brushes, no cloths reused across dozens of cars, no rush. Two buckets, snow foam, clean mitts, air drying — plus the decontamination step regular washes skip entirely.
Do you use automatic brushes?
No. Everything is done by hand with microfibre wash mitts rinsed constantly — automatic brushes are the main source of swirl marks in car paint.
Can I come without an appointment?
It's best to message us on WhatsApp first — we work by appointment so every car gets the time it needs. We're in Militari, at Bulevardul Iuliu Maniu 246, Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00.
Does it include interior cleaning?
The premium wash covers the exterior. For the cabin we have dedicated interior detailing packages — you can combine them in the same visit, with a quote on the spot.
